- Preparation before Installation

Considering the effects as a whole please put the model in pairs or groups on the ground first until it is up to the best effect and then spread it orderly. Don't put stones which are similar in shape, colour, or size together.

- The Stone's Reverse side Dirt cleaning before Installation:

Make sure you clean the dirt from the backside of the stone and from the wall on which you are planning to install the stone. The wall should be scratch coated or roughened up a little bit before installation and the dirt/ dust should be cleaned. Then spread the adhesive or Type "S"Cement on the back side of the stone, this should have 10-20 mm thickness. After applying the adhesive or cement, press the stone against the wall tightly until the stone sticks to the wall in the pattern or design you desire.

- Instructions on Gaps between the Stone:

Regular products like Easy Fit Ledge Stone, New easy Fit Ledge Stone, Custom Fit Ledge stone, Castle Stone, Great Wall Stone, Country Ledge Stone does not necessarily need gaps between two stones, but other stones like Lime Stone, Cobble Stone, River Rock, Stream Rock and All types of Archaize Bricks need a gap of 10mm. This gap known as grouts bring up the show of each individual piece of stone and its colors, design and layout. After you have completed a small portion of wall make sure you use your trowel, you spread the adhesive/ cement as flat as possible, to bring up the show of the stone. The un-wanted adhesive/cement will drop down and the show of each piece will come up amazingly.

It is always good and smart way to start your job from a corner of a wall, by installing the corners first on the wall you want to install the stone. After installation of Corners first, it becomes easy to built each line horizontally in line of each corner, always make sure by your leveling gadget that you are going straight on the wall in line of each corner.

After you have completed the installation, take a thick sponge soak it in water little bit and try and clean the full wall of stone which you have installed. This will give the stonea very clean and shiny look after completion of work.

After 3 days of installation of any of our products, the moisture from the stone has dried off completely, we recommend you use water-proof "Thompson Sealer" which comes in two types: One is a Shiny type and Second is Satin Type (Non-Shiny). This Sealer helps water from seeping underneath the stone if there are some crevices left out while installation. The second advantage of the Thompson Sealer is it improves life of the stone resisting from frost, waterand UV radiation, it brings up the Color, texture and look of the stone which in turn brings up the amazing look of the house and increases the value of your dream home.

After completing your job make sure you completely clean off the floor areas from the remains of dirt, cement, stone and other things. "A clean job always looks good and brings up the show."
